Bizzy Or NOT? Drake Feat James Fauntleroy – “Girls Love Beyoncé”

20130416-005617.jpg

If his passion for Aaliyah wasn’t enough Drizzy is aiming his personal shrine to old Destiny’s Child music with his latest track “Girls Love Beyoncé”. The Canadian Cape Crusader samples DC’s Say My Name with a little help from singer James Fauntleroy.

I guess it’s safe to assume anything #BeyHiv related will surely give Drake plenty of cool point inside the House Of Deréon.

[Audio] Drake To Chris Brown “Don’t Get Mad Rihanna Fell In My Lap”

Drake-Chris-Brown

The battle between Drizzy Drake and C Breezy took another interesting turn last night when Drake appeared on EVR Radio with Elliott Wilson and dished on his upcoming album, The Rick Ross Reebok drama, Lil’ Wayne, and of course his beef with Chris Brown.

The Canadian Cape Crusader didn’t hold anything back proclaiming he made better music than Chris Brown and that Breezy’s anger is built on him being insecure. Drake also rants about being a gentleman to Rihanna (which he claimed she was lacking), and the need for media to allow them to deal with their beef which he hopes they can laugh about one day.

Seems like Drake is all about the music and keeping the drama on the bottom. Check out that portion of the interview below.

New Music: Drake – ’5AM In Toronto’

drakerainlead_rziic
Drake is not about a lot of sh*t talking instead channeling all of his fierce daggers into music. Young Money’s cash cow dropped the hard-hitting ’5am In Toronto’ (produced by Boi-1da and Vinylz) where Drizzy goes after many of his disctractors, addresses petty beefs and assures that without him the rap game would be a graveyard (You can Thank Him Later).

Of course we all know Drake has an album dropping later this year (Nothing Was The Same) so I’m sure he’s about to start building some much-needed buzz around this latest project.

Peep out Maple Syrup’s latest track below.

New Video: Kendrick Lamar Feat Drake – ‘Poetic Justice’

PJ
Kendrick Lamar is definitely a dope lyricist so it comes as no surprise that his visuals are of the same caliber. The West coast rapper is joined by the homie Drake recreating what would appear to be a lost scene from the movies ‘Boyz In The Hood‘ or ‘Poetic Justice‘ which the song shares the same name along the streets of Compton.

There was talk Lamar wanted Janet Jackson to appear the video (the inspiration behind the song) but I’m sure she’s too busy preparing for her 3rd chance at love. Anyway peep out ‘Poetic Justice’ below and bask in Kendrick Lamar’s cinematic greatness…

New Music: Drake – ‘Started From The Bottom’

_STR8556

I guess Grammy night came a little early because Drake has dropped his anticipated new single ‘Started From The Bottom’ a few weeks in advance (stop trying to rain on the Queen’s Madi Gras parade). I never understood why artist put so much energy in keeping new music bottled up until a certain date but I’m glad he decided to leak the new sound tonight.

This is what Drake had to say on his OctobersVeryOwn blog site:

My good friends,

It has truly been too long. I assume you’re all keeping well and making the most of this year that has been given to us. Today is the day to begin sharing my newest work with you. This is the first single off of my upcoming album. I feel sometimes that people don’t have enough information about my beginnings and therefore they make up a life story for me that isn’t consistent with actual events. My family and my second family (consisting of the best friends anybody could ever have) all struggled and worked extremely hard to make all this happen. I did not buy my way into this spot and it was the furthest thing from easy to achieve. I am proud of every part of my past and I’m excited for this song to find a place in your life as well.

Check out this new track after the jump.

#musicmonday Aaliyah Feat. Drake – ‘Enough Said’

20120806-022007.jpg

She may be resting in peace but Drake is keeping Aaliyah’s name alive among a new generation of listeners and old fans alike. After it was heavily rumored Drizzy was supposedly behind a new Aaliyah album, he up and drops ‘Enough Said’. The new track is produced Noah Shebib and finally features the long-awaited collaboration ( in Drake’s eye sight) between Baby girl and Drizzy.

No word on when this ‘new’ album is suppose to drop but it will be interesting to see how this new song is received by long time Aaliyah friends Timbaland and Missy Elliott.

[Drake Diss] Chris Brown Remixes ‘I Don’t Like’ + My 2 Cents

As a lover of all things music I often become fixated in every aspect of the art right down to petty beefs….. Hey everyone loves a verbal spat now and again. What I don’t agree with is how far these people try to take it….

The whole Rihanna thing is to be expected considering her ‘relationships’ with both guys but to go to the extremes of tearing up clubs and making silly diss tracks is very juvenile. Chris Brown did however snatch portions of Drake‘s heavy coated eyebrows but ultimately this catfight should have been deaded a long time ago….

There are no winners when it comes to these two IMO, but I hope your enjoying the theatrics thus far….

The track also features The Game and Kanye West remixing Chief Keef‘s ‘I Don’t Like
