First Listen: K.Michelle – “V.S.O.P” #LHHATL
The Queen of reads, ratchetness, and rebellious soul is wasting no time using those Love & Hip Hop Atlanta hours at the time clock for the betterment of promotion. K.Michelle is wielding out those singles in preparation of her debut album dropping in July.
V.S.O.P is definitely an appropriate lead single choice sans the raunchy buzz track “I Just Wanna….” K dropped last month which was enough to make Millie Jackson blush.
If K.Michelle would just keep her temper in check she has the star power and vocal ability to soar to the top of her game backed by one of the most highly rated reality shows on cable tv.

Music Video: Kendrick Lamar – ‘Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe’
Definitely in a class all of his own and developing one of 2013′s most memorable catchphrases ‘B*tch Don’t Kill My Vibe‘, Kendrick Lamar has delivered the visuals to the much hyped song minus S.Carter (no remix video to see here people). The interesting yet funny video takes place during a funeral and features a cameo from actor Mike Epps.
In other related Kendrick Lamar news the burgeoning MC is nominated for 8 BET Awards including Best New Artist and Best Male Hip Hop Artist. The BET Awards air Live on June 30th from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Kanye West Debuts ‘New Slaves’ + Names New Album ‘Yeezus’
Kanye West is on a roll y’all and the anticipation for new music has already arrived. Last night the male Kardashian in training unveiled single ‘New Slaves‘ across a few buildings in New York and Hollywood last night showcasing the media attention rapper narrating his latest masterpiece. ‘New Slaves’ will run throughout 10 cities and 66 landmarks and buildings over North America, Europe, Australia which you can view on Kanye’s website here.
The new track has a very new world order type of vibe which comes off to me as revolutionary and dark… a leftover doggy bag from ‘My Beautiful Dark and Twisted Fantasy‘.

According to Billboard:
Beyoncé and Jay-Z are reported to be expecting their second baby. Multiple sources have confirmed with E! Online that the singer is pregnant.
Rumors of a possible pregnancy began swirling recently when fan-photos emerged that purportedly showed a small baby bump on the singer during her Mrs. Carter Show performances. More people chimed in after Bey’ walked the red carpet at the Met Gala donning a custom-made Givenchy gown with a belt that covered her stomach.

So off the top this has got to be one of Kelly Rowland’s most personal songs to date. For some reason “Dirty Laundry” channels that raw and honest subject matter missing from today’s R&b. While I didn’t have chance to post it until this evening, I’ve been listening to it all day and I hope it’s a sure shot hit for the enchanting diva.

New Music: The Dream Feat Jay-Z – ‘High Art’
I was expecting more but I just didn’t get the overall effect….
The Dream teams up with Jay-Z (I’m sure a personal favor for lacing his wife with one of her biggest singles to date) on their new joint ‘High Art’.
The new single is just one of the highly anticipated features taken from Dream’s forthcoming album ‘IV Play‘ dropping May 28th. Beyoncé is also rumored to have jumped on a track. Here’s hoping their collabo is more ear friendly.
I don’t know I just believe some artist don’t mesh well together and this is one of those collaborations….maybe I’m wrong. Have a listen

As quickly as she ‘arrived‘ to Hollywood Nene maybe ‘returning‘ to Hotlanta after her NBC sitcom ‘The New Normal‘ got cancelled last night according to thehollywoodreporter. The semi-autobiographical comedy from Glee‘s Ryan Murphy and Ali Adler was Murphy’s 1st attempt at an half-hour comedy and aired as part of NBC’s Tuesday comedy block. The sitcom was about a gay couple starting a family all while enlisting the services of a single mother as the surrogate. Nene starred as Rocky Rhoades the former assistant to Andrew Rannells character Bryan.
